Getting to Poznań

Poznań has its own airport located around 7 km from the city center. The airport currently offers connections to 20 European locations, including both regular and “cheap” airlines connections. The most popular switching destinations are: Munich, Frankfurt, Copenhagen and Warsaw. Direct connections to London (Stansted and Luton) are also available. Other recommended options to reach Poznań include:

  • Train – there are regular connections from Poznań to many Polish cities and to Berlin. The travel from Poznań to Berlin as well as to Warsaw takes 2.5 hours – by InterCity/EuroCity train – and it costs around 40 EUR for 2nd class ticket. This may be also a good option for someone who is able to conveniently reach Berlin or Warsaw by airplane and then switch to train for the last part of the journey.   • Car – Poznań has good highway connection with Warsaw (310 km) and Berlin (260 km).
